I am a researcher, writer, and maker specializing in visual culture, environmental justice, ecology, and placemaking. I am a PhD candidate in Art History at Northwestern University, where I am also an Innovator in Residence at the Emerging Technologies Lab. I simultaneously work as a specimen preparator and taxidermy apprentice at the Field Museum of Natural History.
I have worked in curatorial, educational, archival, and collections capacities with The Chicago Architecture Biennial (CAB5 2023); The Field Museum; The Harvard Fine Arts Library; Yorkshire Sculpture Park; and the National Gallery of Art (D.C.). You can find my writing published in The SEEN Journal, The Boston Hassle, and The Rutgers Art Review. Currently, I am a 2024-25 Landhaus Fellow at the Ludwig Maximilian University Rachel Carson Center.
